Quail Run Ink. 20”X16”
This ink drawing beautifully captures the essence of a typical child from a Texas southern neighborhood. The scene is set on a front porch, where a bike and swing hang from the trees, which are an integral part of the setting. The artist’s fascination with the architectural brick pattern created by the architect is evident, as the building itself is thoughtfully placed with artistic design. The trees enchant and guard the environment with a sweet, homey flair. The white crocheted hat hanging from the front door was designed for the artist sister, a handmade recycle from white plastic bags, and garnished with the tricolor touch as a symbol of Texas Proud!
